What do I bring with my dog? Please bring any medications, as well as the amount of food they will need during their stay (with some extra just in case). We prefer not to change their dog food due to potential for upset tummies. Bring thier collar, leash, and we will allow 1 blanket to smell of home. We have our own sanatizable beds, blankets, etc. Please do not bring toys, as some dogs are good at destroying toys belonging to other dogs.
Are you insured? Yes! We are fully insured.
What vaccinations are required, and do I need documentation? Yes. You need to submit documentation from your veterinarian for the following: -DHLPP Vaccine. -Rabies Vaccine. -Bordetella (Sometimes -Called Canine Kennel Cough) Vaccine. This must be given more than 14 days prior to a boarding reservation, but within the last 6 months. -Canine Influenza Virus (Dog Flu) Vaccine -Flea and tick preventative Please note that Bordetella is a virus family of over 200 strains and that all vaccinations on the market today only cover about 30 of the most common strains. Bordetella vaccinations do not guarantee any protection from this virus, but it does help if the strains encountered are of the most common variety. We take care to make sure that all dogs are vaccinated against canine cough, but we DO NOT take responsibility for any break through, or outbreaks in this large family of virus.
